Zumba takes the “work” out of workout. Think moves and music, joy, fitness. Think exercise in disguise.
Zumba offers a wonderful way to get and keep in shape. Cardio fitness and muscle tone are assured as you are guided via Latin tempos through the warm up, conditioning and cool down phases of each scientifically sound 45-minute dance class.
With easy-to-follow steps and movements, Zumba sessions surreptitiously target the glutes, legs, arms, core, abdominals and the most important muscle in the body – the heart.
If you can move, you can Zumba; no need for previous dance experience. The relaxed, go with the flow atmosphere, provides the opportunity to enhance flexibility and coordination.
Two levels of classes are offered: –
Zumba FITNESS is focused on calorie burning, high and low intensity intervals;
Zumba Gold – low impact version for active older adults, those returning from injury or new to Zumba – a lower intensity modified class, focused on balance, range of motion and coordination.
It’s natural to come away from these classes feeling stronger and energised which is why Zumba is great for the mind, body and soul!
